Our Story: The Alpine Dreamer & The Northern Light
Our tale begins not in a boardroom, but in the shadow of the majestic Alps. In the secluded village of Auravale in 1987, Thomas; a visionary craftsman with hands gifted by generations of jewellers before him, found his greatest inspiration not in gold or gemstones, but in his wife, Elara.
Elara possessed a spirit as wild and beautiful as the mountain meadows. She dreamed of horizons beyond their valley. It was for her that Thomas created his most passionate work: pieces that captured the delicate frost on a petal, the shimmer of a star over a silent peak, and the deep, enduring strength of the ancient rock.
Driven by Elara's dream and a desire to share their beauty with the world, they embarked on a journey, carrying little more than their tools and a cherished pouch of Alpine crystals and stones. Their travels led them to the dramatic landscapes of Northern England – to the rolling dales and rugged borders of Yorkshire. Here, they found a new muse in the raw, untamed beauty of the North. The light on the moors, the mystery of the historic borders, and the warmth of its people felt like a new home.
They settled in a small stone workshop, where the mist from the valleys would whisper at their window. Thomas taught Elara the secrets of his craft, and together, they began anew. Their unique style—Alpine precision meets Northern soul—quickly captivated those with an eye for something truly unique.
The Yara Fine of Today
